How to view and restore version history in Google Docs?

To view and restore version history in Google Docs, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Google Docs document you want to view version history for.
  2. Click on the "File" menu option at the top left corner.
  3. Select "Version history" from the drop-down menu.
  4. A sidebar will appear on the right side of the document, showing all the available versions sorted by date and time.
  5. Click on a specific version to see a preview of the document at that point in time.
  6. If you want to restore a previous version, select the version you want to restore and click on the "Restore this version" button located at the top of the sidebar.
  7. A prompt will appear asking you to confirm the restoration. Click on "Restore" to revert to the selected version.
  8. Your document will now be restored to the selected version.
