To highlight text in Google Docs, you can follow these steps:
- Open your Google Docs document.
- Select the text you want to highlight. You can do this by clicking and dragging your cursor over the desired text.
- Once the text is selected, click on the "Text color" button on the toolbar. It looks like an "A" with a colored bar underneath.
- A color palette will appear. Click on the color you want to use for highlighting. If you don't see the desired color, click on "Custom" to choose a specific color or create your own custom color.
- The selected text will now be highlighted with the chosen color.
Note: If you want to remove the highlighting, select the highlighted text and click on the "Text color" button again. Then, select the transparent option or the default white color to remove the highlighting.
