How to enter and format data in Google Sheets cells?

To enter and format data in Google Sheets cells, follow these steps:

  1. Open your Google Sheets document.
  2. Double-click on the cell where you want to enter the data. The cell will become active and ready for input.
  3. Type in the desired data into the cell.
  4. Press Enter on your keyboard, or click on another cell to complete the data entry.
  5. To format the data in the cell, select the cell or range of cells that you want to format.
  6. Click on the "Format" tab in the top menu bar.
  7. In the drop-down menu that appears, choose the formatting option you want to apply. Some common formatting options include: number format, text format, font style, font size, text color, cell color, borders, etc.
