To create and use templates in Google Docs, follow these steps:
- Open Google Docs and start a new blank document.
- Customize the document with the desired formatting, fonts, images, and content.
- Once you have the document formatted the way you want it to appear as a template, click on "File" in the toolbar.
- From the dropdown menu, select "Save as template..."
- A dialog box will appear. Give your template a name and click on the "Save" button.
- The template will be saved in the Google Docs Template Gallery.
- To access your templates, click on "Template Gallery" in the Google Docs home screen.
- The Template Gallery will open, displaying a list of your saved templates.
- To use a template, simply click on the template's title.
- A new document will open, created from the selected template.
- Edit the content as necessary and save the document with a new name.
You can also edit and manage your templates by clicking on "Template Gallery" and selecting "Manage Templates". From there, you can rename, delete, or make a copy of your templates.
