To change the font style in Microsoft Word, follow these steps:
- Open Microsoft Word and open the document you want to edit.
- Select the text you want to change the font style for. You can select a single word, a sentence, a paragraph, or the entire document.
- Go to the "Home" tab in the ribbon at the top of the Word window.
- In the "Font" group, you will see options for changing the font style, font size, and other formatting options.
- Click on the drop-down menu next to the font name. A list of available fonts will appear.
- Scroll through the list to view different font styles, and click on the font style you want to use. The selected text will instantly change to the new font style.
- Alternatively, you can type the first few letters of the font style you want in the font box, and Word will automatically filter the list to show only matching font styles.
- You can also change the font size by clicking the drop-down menu next to the font size and selecting a new size from the list.
- Once you have selected the desired font style and size, you can continue editing your document or save the changes.
Note: Changing the font style only affects the selected text or any new text you type after the change.
