How to adjust column width and row height in Google Docs tables?

To adjust the column width and row height in a Google Docs table, follow these steps:

  1. Open your Google Docs document and navigate to the table you want to adjust.

  2. Click on any cell within the table to activate the table tools in the toolbar at the top of the page. This will display additional options related to the table.

  3. To adjust column width:

    • Hover your cursor over the line that separates the column you want to resize from the adjacent column. The cursor will change to a double-sided arrow.
    • Click and hold the left mouse button, then drag the line left or right to adjust the width.
    • Release the mouse button when you are satisfied with the new column width.
  4. To adjust row height:

    • Hover your cursor over the line that separates the row you want to resize from the adjacent row. The cursor will change to a double-sided arrow.
    • Click and hold the left mouse button, then drag the line up or down to adjust the height.
    • Release the mouse button when you have achieved the desired row height.
